Account Information: When you sign in via Google or another authentication provider, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. This information is provided by your authentication provider and is used to create and manage your account.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, apps clicked, credits purchased and spent, apps submitted, and search queries. This data helps us improve the Platform and is used to calculate creator revenue share.

Payment Information: Credit purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled. We receive transaction confirmations including amount paid and transaction IDs.

Creator Payout Information: If you participate in the revenue share program, we may collect additional information necessary to process payments, such as your name, country of residence, and tax identification numbers as required by applicable law.

Device and Technical Data: We may collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers for security, analytics, and Platform functionality purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform. Process credit purchases and manage your account balance. Calculate and process creator revenue share payments. Communicate with you about your account, purchases, or payouts. Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents. Comply with legal obligations.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate the Platform, including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Neon (database hosting), and Vercel (hosting). These providers process your data only as necessary to provide their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.

Public Profile: Your username/handle and any Apps you submit are publicly visible on the Platform. Your email address is not publicly displayed.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Sherwood, our users, or the public.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and usage data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Credit transaction records and revenue share records are retained for a minimum of 7 years for financial and tax compliance purposes. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure authentication via Clerk, and access controls on our database systems. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
